What are your deal breaking red flags?

Living in a group home in their 30s.

Uneducated/poor.

You can add musicians without real jobs to your list. I also steer clear of anybody on online sites who says they’re “self-employed” but doesn’t say in what. He could have an awesome work ethic, or he could be looking for a sugar momma, and I have an unfortunate track record of not being able to spot the difference early on.

His place is a shambles with clutter everywhere and dirty dishes in the sink. BTDT for 20 years.

So, like, my friend Julie and I, like, we were like at this fundraising event for, like, dogs and, like, animals that, like, were rescued from the hurricane in Florida and, like, there were sooooo many people there and they raised, like, so much money and it was so good to, like, be able to be a part of that because, like, these poor dogs, like, they, like, really need help finding new homes."

Yeah, if that's your everyday speech pattern...

If I was dating you and found out you made this post it would be a deal breaker for me. Not because I am a fan of the word 'like' but because of your over the top obnoxious method of criticizing someone.

Said he couch surfs with different friends, and had been doing that for 3 months since moving to the area. This man was in his 30s and had kids.

What this said to me is that he's broke, immature, and expects others to take care of him. I'm sure I dodged a bullet with that one.
but a guy who does that to a woman is a jerk right

No. No reason to take on that level of issues on day one for either sex.

Plus all the obvious things like drug use or a criminal record beyond like, a DUI or a bar fight in the distant past.

All of those. I would add no cheating in their past, no promiscuous behavior, responsible with their finances, no involvement with exes, and easy going type.

LOL. For some reason no one thinks this about men who have done cocaine more than once. I guess men are just capable of obtaining things without having sex while women mysteriously are not.

I remember dating a guy who made good money and worked 45 hours a week (so had time to either clean or had money to get a cleaner) and his house was SO SO gross. He always looked on point and presentable and clean. I couldn't get how different his presentation was compared to his home. Crazy, I thought they usually correlated.

what about a dirty car? what about for a woman? my guess is no for men but ok for women. i haven't dated for over 20 years so i don't really know, but am curious.

You MRA guys have wild imaginations. Why would filth be any more acceptable on a woman?

Fat, tats, weird piercings, prior stds, having been pregnant before, divorcees, prior drug use, smoker/former smoker, thot/reformed thot, comes from a trashy family (note - this doesn’t mean poor - I don’t care if you come from a poor family, but rich trashy families - no), no intellectual curiosity.

I've been married a long time, but I worked in finance/ insurance for years. If a guy has done cocaine multiple times, it usually means there were hookers present at least once. If a guy has sold cocaine, he more than likely exchanged it for sex more than once.

Guy here:
Shows no inclination to initiate sex
Shows little interest in what is going on in the world
Inside of car and home are a mess
Smoking and drug use
No ambition except being taken care of
Shows no inclination to initiate sex - oh, did I already mention that?
