Heck, I’m happy that they are offered for me, an adult, at work. Sometimes I need it.

I also definitely support more late busses. My HS had two late busses every day (one for sort of late and one for really late) - I took it every day.

You seem not to appreciate that the money for these programs is just being thrown at a small number of schools with no analysis of why those schools should be prioritized over other schools, or whether spending the money on other programs would be a better use of scarce resources.

But, yeah, free stuff! It’s all good until people give up on FCPS and are no longer willing to foot the bill.

Well I voted for the meals tax!

They already do that! The issue is providing free dispensers in the bathrooms. If you don't understand that this can be abused, you are very naive.

I'm fine with extra late buses if there is a need. But, they have not shown a need. This is like testing spaghetti by throwing it to the wall to see if it sticks. There are better ways to determine if it is ready.
Do you have any idea how much money will be spent here?
And, if they are needed, there are also poor kids in many other schools that could use them.

The money could be better spent on an extra teacher/counselor in those schools. The money spent on the late buses would likely cover that and more.

If you're going to provide razors you need to supply shaving cream as well. I don't think school bathroom soap is good for shaving. It's too drying.

Sorry, we’ll only set aside $150K on shaving creme and you need to be 45% FARMS, not 40%, to get it.

Feminine products in the bathrooms are a custodial nightmare! This is not a high need. School isn’t suppose to be everything for everyone. This is just not necessary.

This is why we need to replace at-large members Karen Keys Gamarra and Ryan McElveen with Vinson Palathingal and Cheryl Buford. Time for some common sense!

Schultz walks out on votes/discussions

She leaves Springfield without a voice when she does this.

She speaks the truth more than any other member.

She usually speaks up before she abstains, and abstains when she doesn’t feel the School Board has enough information to make an informed decision.

The School Board is mostly an echo chamber of virtue-signaling incompetents. Thank God for Elizabeth Schultz to shine a light on their nonsense.

Both Arlington and Loudoun counties have higher property tax rates than Fairfax.

Not voting is cowardly

Schultz may be a lot of things, but she’s not a coward.

Why, because she posts about guns and bullets? That makes her not a coward?
I stand by my statement. Not casting a vote IS cowardly and leaves springfield without a voice.

They already had that for free from planned Parenthood? Isn't that the talking point to justify why planned Parenthood is not about just abortion?

The only thing this new policy does is to put dispensing machines in the bathrooms that are checked and restocked regularly. These items are already freely available in clinics.

Problems I see with this:

Young children will play with the dispensers and supplies will quickly disappear.
We will be supplying the moms, too.
Items will disappear with afterschool outsiders--high schools frequently have adult classes at night, sports activities, etc.

Our School Board never considers unintended consequences.
