Agree 100%. Chicago and Northwestern on top w/Carlton the top LAC. |
And has disappointing parties |
|
Notre Dame claims it has the greatest geographical reach/representation in its student body in the country. In a recent year the class was 35 percent midwest, 24 percent East Coast, 19 percent West/Southwest, 14 percent South and 7 percent international. I don't know if that's the "greatest," but it pretty impressive and lays to rest any claim that the school has "limited appeal."
It's also 20 percent non-Catholic. |
It's spelled Carleton. and yes Chicago no. 1 for universities |
Well, they're there now (and so are students from Rockhurst and U of Oklahoma): https://law.yale.edu/admissions/profiles-statistics/entering-class-profile |
Have you ever been to the Midwest, PP? No one (well I am sure there is someone, but not most) aspires to go to University of Chicago; that would be like someone in the DMV preferring NOVA CC to Harvard. |
Because Midwest is uber conservative, which is the opposite of Oberlin |
DP. You are insane. It is by far the #1 school in the Midwest and everyone knows it. It is just where fun goes to die, so if you are not up for a very rigorous experience, go to Penn State or whatever. |
Not really. |
| Iowa for journalism (Northwestern a close second) |
Whatever. We would never waste a dime on it but you do you! |
It's in one of the original 13 colonies. Not Midwest. |
Something tells me you would never have the opportunity. |
Western PA is definitely part of the Midwest (aka Pensatucky) |
Right? It's the opposite of a party school (except for tailgating once up on a time). |
