Bullis Lacrosse Situation

Regardless, how could assistant coaches at Bullis, who also have their own club teams, have more influence with the AD/HOS than a teacher/coach who's been there for years and has elevated the program?

The rumor is the assistant coaches, who own Performance Sports and part of DC Express and closely associated with Bethesda Lacrosse, helped fund the field renovations at Bullis by pre-paying rent.

That is not a rumor. Thos DCE guys are scumbags for pushing Bellistri out.

! Does anyone know how good of a coach Jeff really is? The DCE guys have been involved with Bullis lacrosse since he took over the program. It’s hard to say who deserves the credit for the rise of Bullis lacrosse program. Have the DCE guys been doing all the work in the background and has Jeff been taking all the credit?

There is no president - there's a head of school.

If that's the case then they should all be fired.

Horsey is a good guy but mediocre coach. He is definitely not responsible for their success. Don't know about Magill.

Ray McGill is a very good coach.

He would be a big loss for Bullis if he departed ways.

No. Ray was brought in after Bellistri became the HC. Don't cite facts when you have no idea what you're saying

Is their leading attackman ( who just transferred there last season) transferring back to StAb?
Anonymous
If true then those second tier players willFinally get playing time!
Anonymous
Yes, he is going back to Saint Anne’s Belfield for his senior year.

Maybe Bullis will bring in another senior transfer who was asked to leave his previous school to make up for the loss.

Anonymous
No, he is not going back to STAB. which is why he wore his Bullis helmet st Naptown.

We're talking about a game here, right? Kind of a tempest in a small little teapot.

Thank you for the explanation. I did not know enough about what was going on to understand the repeated references to DCE. Now I get it. And then I take it from the follow-up post that the Assistant Coaches pushed out the Head Coach? Interesting.
