Makes me want to get high, have a drink, and then roller skate on a warm, humid night.

With Led Zeppelin playing on the headphones.

Bliss! The make it look so utopian.

Possible SPOILER, but...

I read the book but I can’t remember, but does Curry have any real insight in Camille’s cutting? Does he know she cut? Or does he just know she drinks? She seems on the extreme end of high functioning, as far as alcoholics go. Also, do we think the drinking started post-rehab/post-cutting? Did she replace one bad habit with another, or did she always drink?

Any insights after episide 7? What an episode!

Who do you think did it? I still think Alan the stepdad is involved, along with Amma or Adora. In one of the first episodes, the cop mentions that the killer tends to lurk in the shadows not making waves, like Alan.

I’d answer but, I’ve read the book!

I think Amy Adams is phenomenal. I hope she snags an Emmy for this performance. Her depiction of such a multi-dementional woman is spot on.

I've thought Amma from the beginning and I am sticking with it! They told us Adora killed her daughter and so she is the obvious suspect there, but I'm not letting Amma off the hook. She has a connection to the girls, doesn't seem perturbed by their deaths, she was very upset when Camille came out with her article, and she fits the profile of someone feeling like they don't have any power as she is subject to Adora's Munchausen by proxy. She also just gives me the creeps and is super attention seeking. The only thing that I can't quite figure out with her is the teeth. They said it would take a strong man (or similar?) to pull them and it would be difficult. Not sure that fits her. But I don't know, I think she could maybe handle it...

DP. I agree. Her performance is haunting and painful to watch. Definitely hope she wins an Emmy!

Where did they say that Adora killed her daughter? I must have missed that! I do think that Amma plays a significant role here. Honestly, this isn't really on-topic, but I found it really peculiar that Camille actually didn't recognize Amma when she first returned to her hometown. I mean, I know it had been awhile since they'd seen each other, but really??

Also, I guess Adora and the police chief used to be an item, back in the day?

My guess is that they still are!

What is the significance of the dollhouse? Or dollhouses? Is Amma hiding something in her dollhouse that she's willing to let her mother medicate her over getting rid of her dollhouse?

Iirc, there was a scene where Amma didn't want Camille near her dollhouse.

It’s a pretty huge spoiler.

I just think it's so great how they killed the romance between Camille and the detective. The actors are amazing. The whole thing was just insanely touching and brutal and believable even though the plot and the characters are so out there, and I think that really speaks to the skill of the actors.
I adore Patricia Clarkson but the Adora character hasn't landed with me the way the way the Camille and detective characters have.

Also Elizabeth Perkins is amazing and the set design of her house was fantastic, I hope we get more.

I agree. Their scene in this week’s episode was heart wrenching.

They imply very heavily that they are a current item.

There’s definitely a biting theme going on:

Adora biting baby Amma in Camille’s flashback then uttering, “Another sick baby.” Weird AF.

Girls with missing teeth.

Natalie’s bitten ear. Is that her name? The girlfriend of the dead girls brother. Too many names, sorry.

Camille in her cheerleading outfit and Marian saying, “Couldn’t you just eat her up?”
