No. Im pretty sure it was JE from SAC and SQ from Pipeline.

JE is pretty head of SAC and probably one of the best soccer minds in the DMV. Doesn’t really coach anymore. AW got popular when his 07 and 06 teams were doing well but both fell off when top players left for ECNL.

AW is a fun guy but not everyone’s flavor. More in line with KL and SC so he will fit right in….

AW was responsible for decimating the Armour 2011 team of homegrown SAC girls. They all left because of him. Known to be a good trainer but negligent and manipulative as a coach. KL and SC are actually very committed and respected by their teams, AW is not.

Ditto. AW ruined BA 2011s. Not a great communicator and shows very little interest in winning or developing.

All the good players left and even the ones who join don’t stay long either. Expect joint practices (2 teams in 1 practice) if he gets 2 teams. Very weird tactical choices with the wrong players (no merit) in the wrong positions.

Bethesda parents will find out soon. Give it a game or two at the start of the season and everyone will be looking for the exits.
