I completely understand your dilemma! This would be a hard thing for me as well as I am one who doesn't like taking risks, especially financial ones.
I guess the question I would have for myself and the question I have for you is - do you trust your husband with the finances? It sounds like he has been good with your money in the past therefore he wouldn't do something that he didn't believe in and could cause his family financial ruin. However, it's definitely okay to be able to have a conversation with your husband and express your concern, even if you are going to support the decision of the new job.
Definitely anxiety producing, I hear ya! But I think, at the end of the day, it's good to do something to chase a dream
