Do you know whether Loudoun boys side has any plans to join ECNL. Or will the top Loudoun boys teams (except for DA) remain in CCL?

This was a ECNL announcement not a DA. Who knows what Arlington's DA status actually is but if they did get DA it would just rebadge the Red team. It wouldn't make a difference in terms of team composition.

Thats a good question. If they wanted a better league to play in you would think that would apply to both boys and girls.

No plans to join ecnl on the boys side. The press release on Loudoun website says they are committed to boys DA.

So Loudoun has DA but only for younger ages? Why is that? Where do they go when they turn 15? I am so confused. How does this work?

They go to DC United or VDA.

DA is set up as a pyramid and thins the player pool by cutting the number of teams at U18 nearly in half from U12. It is to create natural attrition.

My neighbor's kid topped out and had to leave Loudoun DA. VDA was way to far so they ended up at BRYC ECNL. With DCU moving next door I would find it hard for Loudoun not to pursue full DA status. Once DCU moves into town they will take the top talent across Loudoun and some of Fairfax.

With DCU next door there is no CHANCE US Soccer gives Loudoun a full DA.
