If you are Spanish, Portuguese or Brazilian...

Fortunately, so true. "We" the people has always referred to Whites. All the rest of America back to slavery picking 21st century cotton.

Over the last 50 years, feeble attempts at inclusion, are angering greedy Whites so used to being the only game in town. This is the naked essence of Charlottesville.

"Greedy whites?" You mean the same ones who fund scholarship programs and foundations that help thousands of disadvantaged kids or those volunteer their time to do the same, or those who fund the charities that feed, house, and clothe disadvantaged people? Surely since you are painting all white people as greedy racists, you meant to include these people too. Or maybe you make an exception because they give you stuff. Either way, get over your anger and jealousy.

Spaniards are as European as British, Swedish, or French people.

Even "white" spaniards as a population have more chances of having Maghreb genetic markers than white brits or swedes.

Def a difference

What about Italians then? Should they get affirmative action too? After all, a lot of them have Moorish blood.

No he didn't. He declared he was black. Black - not half black,

Black.

Although I don't have a penis, I can self identify as male.

I like tacos, salsa, refried beans and celebrating Cinco de Mayo. Can I identify as Hispanic?

...because the entire world, including the many Americans who referred to him as "n*****" and "ape", sees him as black.

Obama self-identifies as black.

Obama declared he was black.

There is no contradiction in those statements. What are you disagreeing with?

Actually, this is exactly what most colleges do. Colleges absolutely practice AA for poor kids. And signs that a kid is from a disadvantaged background are all over the application--where you live, what school you go to, whether your parents went to college, what their occupations are, the financial aid application if the school is not need-blind (and only a handful of schools are need blind), the recommendation where teachers will say explicitly, "this is a kid who has succeeded despite a lot of disadvantages."

The reason more of these kids don't go to college, or to top colleges, is that many of them don't apply.

Do we have to have this same tired conversation every 2 weeks?

Do you have a citation for this? My mom is Sicilian and I've never heard of such a thing.

I can confirm that it does help with college admissions and scholarships.
S went on several diversity programs.

There is a certain hypocrisy and irony in someone using a white Spanish grandmother for AA purposes when Spain was by far the biggest and most brutal colonial power in the New World, whose legacy resulted in heavily racially stratified societies.....

Brutal invaders.

Not true, and the term "guidos" is very offensive. But I guess that you need some group to take your biases out on since blacks, Hispanics and Muslims are off limits in the PC world you live in.

The Spanish and Portuguese were even worse than British/Americans when it came to treatment of non-whites during the 1492 through the 20th century period. It's laughable that Americans would give white spaniards affirmative action on the basis that they may have like 2% sub-Saharan African DNA.

Right. Compare the former British colonies with former Spanish, Portuguese and French colonies. Even if you're not white, you're still way better off in the US/Canada/Australia/NZ than most other colonies.
