They never update it. Stop expecting it.

Why do one update and then give up?

To make you crazy?

Who knows. Call every so often. If you get a slot they will hunt you down. Otherwise just let it go.

They updated it periodically last summer.

They've updated the list:

Decent pre-K3 movement, little to none for the higher levels.

With mixed grade level classes I'm having a hard time making sense of WL moving 40 places for PreK3 and 6 for PreK4. Can anyone explain? In the teens for PreK4 and hoping it's ok to be hopeful!

It makes perfect sense. They need to fill ALL of the PK3 spots each year, which means more spaces available and more waitlist movement. PK4 seats are likely only filled due to attrition, so there is usually little to no movement.

Yes, but if they are making a new class and that's why PK3 just moved 13 spots wouldn't there be similar movement elsewhere as well? For initial admits I understand the disparate numbers but Im still perplexed by this round. Perhaps wishful thinking is clouding my perspective.

Even when they make a new class they tend to seed it by moving kids from other communities, and sometimes make both classes slightly smaller.

Max size for a class is 24-27, meaning just 8-9 per grade if it is perfectly even. It isn't always.

Is LAMB worth all the drama? I'm sincerely curious because we are enrolled at a neighborhood school that's been refreshingly straightforward and that we feel good about despite a less than stellar reputation, but we also have a good number on the LAMB waitlist.

LAMB family here. It makes sense that it is hard to understand if you aren't part of the community, but we are so very happy there and haven't considered leaving for one minute. Even with everything that has gone on this year (I won't choose to use the word "drama"). My children are learning so much in two languages, the community is so warm and close and the teachers are amazing. We still feel lucky every day that we won this lottery. Others may feel differently, but one family's view here.

I think that the new class was created because there were too many rising pk4 students. It was filled with existing pk4 and K students.
