Anyone gotten called from the LAMB waitlist yet?

For what it's worth, multiple administrators have told us in no uncertain terms that this is the last year at SD...at least for primary.

That was just a hope.

Why is it so unlikely - what obstacles? We are hoping they stay at SD...although I guess that is not going to happen either way.

I think that lease ends in 2019 no matter what? Maybe I'm wrong...

Totally wrong.

That is not wrong. I am sure the school could renew if they want, but it ends in 2018 is the year I always here.

Is there hope for PK4? Anyone know?

There's a big deadline next week for registration/proof of residency forms. I could see a few kids dropping off after that. Maybe another family or two moves out of town by the fall. All told, I could see the PK4 list moving again, but only a number of slots you can count on one hand. Good luck!

Question: when LAMB offers you a spot from the waitlist, do they normally do it via phone or email?

When it ends and when they leave are not necessarily the same. The point is there is a lot of uncertainty. If you can roll with it, no problems. If you must know that you will be at X location vs. Y location, it's not a great choice.

We received an email. Am not sure if they would have followed up with a phone call if they didn't get a response, or not.

High 50s is a possibility. It usually goes into 50s, not beyond. But, waitlist doesn't get moving until school starts. Last year we were only a few numbers beyond those who received initial offer and got in when school started. I noticed then that list had moved to 50s. But list does not move at all during summer because those who initially get in enroll and don't give up their spots until the last minute. So don't bother checking list every day like I did.

Maybe that's how it worked in the past, but LAMB was already offering spaces to waitlist students in the high 50s as early as mid-July this year.

I think the administration protecting their child-molester friend for two years has taken a toll on their reputation.

This is a ridiculous post. Fewer siblings plus additional classes = more waitlist movement. Check out the very little PK4 and K movement before you blather on about something you don't know.

We got an email too.

Just wanted to update who have been watching the list like a hawk like I have - it is moving this week. I am the OP of this thread (high 50s on the waitlist), and we got our email that we got in yesterday. They haven't updated the site yet, so I am not sure how far it has gone past us.

Congrats! And thanks for the intel. I have a friend a few spots away. Fingers crossed!
