This is OP and how interesting that someone would bring up race here... lol. Well I'm black . The whole race point can just go out the window. This doesn't have to do with race but unwanted touching of a child.

Never in our family. Physical affection is everyone's choice to give or not depending on their own comfort level and wishes at the time. Anything else just seems strange to me when I then turn around and tell my kids to keep their hands to themselves in school, not touch people if they don't want to be touched, and that no one has the right to touch them in any ways that make them feel uncomfortable.

LOL Believe it or not, many people's reaction will be "it's such a white people thing." Not in a complimentary way. I'm a white immigrant, and I thought you were one of those super annoying MC moms with Kate Gosslyn ugly short haircut LOL
