Yeah, I have some personal experience with this. It depends. Assuming she was converted by an Orthodox rabbi before her children were born, then they would be considered Jewish in the eyes of all forms of Judaism - reform, conservative, orthodox, etc. I suppose that some extreme Lubavitchers (ultra-orthodox), etc. would disagree, but the standard really is an orthodox conversion. If she was converted by a reform or conservative rabbi, then the orthodox synagogue would not consider them to be jewish. I'm guessing she had an orthodox conversion. This was probably more info than you needed.

Yes, very helpful, as I always thought under orthodox that children of women that convert cannot be jewish... although not jewish this misunderstanding was always something that kind of bothered me a little (not that it should matter) - as it's not the kids fault. I appreciate the clarification.

Again more info than you need, but... while Judaism is not an actively proselytizing religion, it is very welcoming to those who show interest in converting. The orthodox conversion process is very cumbersome and lengthy, but converts are very much welcomed.
