I dispute this. The uneducated whites might have been a very solid voting block this time around, but there are not enough of them to swing an election. Their votes should have been easily offset by the "women's vote." But HRC just didn't get that vote in big enough numbers - That's what did her in. Women are the largest single voting block, and they didn't turn out for her at the rate many expected.

He got much higher percentages of women, minorities, and the college educated than the media assumed. He did not win simply due to uneducated whites.

When Dems win, you never hear anything about "uneducated minorities" propelling them to victory. Just about how much smarter the Dems are than everyone else. And I'm a Dem! Dems are not here for the little people anymore. They're just as much about protecting the status quo as anyone else.
