Trump won because of liberal smugness

If the uneducated white middle class decides the outcome of this election. Hilary should've done a better job of appealing to them instead of looking down on them. The reality is this is who lives in our country. If you tell them they are deplorable they probably won't vote for you.

For the umpteenth time - going to college does not equate to being intelligent, or even “educated” for that matter.
And, plenty of people with college degrees, and advanced degrees, voted for Trump.

But, I agree with you that the folks outside the liberal enclaves should not be looked down upon. For the most part, these are the folks who are working to provide goods and services to our country.

I see it as the good old boys group. Those who voted for him are the ones who want control and the old ways. it's like no matter how hard a woman fight to get where she wants to go, at the end, she looses to the white man. Unless she is backed up by the majority of females, in which she isn't in this case.
And those who voted for him are the ones who can't assimilate with the immigrants that are in the country. Those are the ones that are resisting. As for the economy-it was the change in technology and globalization that cause millions of folks to lose the jobs.

He got much higher percentages of women, minorities, and the college educated than the media assumed. He did not win simply due to uneducated whites.

I am an educated East Coast liberal for all intense purposes and I am sick of smug east coast liberals! especially the woman who think the only reason she didn't win is because America is sexist - no. she didn't win because she is deplorable and not trustworthy.
