Whites at Berkeley blocked from crossing a bridge

Liberals that I have met and tried to have discussions with are the most closed minded people.
Kind of sad they don't realize this.

Exactly how do you think you are advancing the discussion in this thread with such a meaningless generalization?

It's an observation, not a generalization. If she had said "All liberals are like this", then that's a generalization.

See, we think the sane thing about y'all. That's why these conversations almost never go anywhere. We're never going to convince each other to believe in our viewpoint, no matter how hard we try.

But sometimes the discussions are fun.

Oh, yeah. You get it. Their objective is as plain as the nose on their face. Their intentions are obvious.

wtf?

The demonstrators were caught on video blocking Berkeley’s Sather Gate, holding large banners advocating the creation of physical spaces segregated by race and gender identity, including one that read “Fight 4 Spaces of Color.”
Protesters can be heard shouting “Go around!” to white students who attempt to go through the blockade, while students of color are greeted with calls of “Let him through!”

Asian students were blocked as well not just whites.

Any White parents who send their kids to a place like this hate themselves and their kids. They are suffering from "white guilt" Blacks and other "oppressed" groups need to be told to shut up or leave the university. The sole purpose of a university is study. If you want to be an agitator, leave the university and agitate elsewhere.
Agitators come in all shapes, forms, races, and opinions as you well know and have yourself written. As you have disclosed online, I am surprised that someone as young as yourself has such vehement views about, well, everybody especially since you yourself are not white.

I hope you realize that in the future there will be internet searches as you seek employment, even by colleges, and depending where you work, these anti-everybody statements could hurt you. You're still young with disabilities as you have thoroughly outlined on the internet. No, not stalking but a simple one-time search unloaded quite a batch of interesting, personal information and opinions. Be careful what you say online, young man. This stuff can come back and haunt you in the future. You don't want that!

I agree that your public opinions should be heard here and an
y place else. But allow those with diametrically opposed views to be heard also. That's only fair.

Why would a 16-17 year old haunt an awful nazi website like Ironmarch? This is very telling and explains much about his posts.

Stupid as it is, many blacks view Asians as the enemy.

I honestly think it's so funny how most of the white millennial students didn't bat an eye and just went around the creek. You can tell they are totally used to the tomfoolery. You know those students were sooooooo expecting and disappointed not to have multiple students pick a fight when them so they could claim victim

I'm going to fathom a private guess who is posting this of several incendiary posts in this thread whose purpose is obvious.

This. Our naive college students and their spineless college administrators are working to set our country back in time. So much for the Civil Rights Movement.

That said, I think they're making things worse with this "safe spaces" idea. Segregation is not the answer.

Where were the campus police and administrators and why were they not protecting the rights of the white and Asian students to cross the campus without walking through a creek?

It really does not surprise me any more that Trump is considered electable. We are heading towards a civil war and these fucking idiot college students will have just as much to do with the inevitable mayhem as any group of white supremacists in Kansas.
Sadly, +1

Hmm, commenters- a little white privilege here?. Jeez. Get over yourselves. Maybe read about how/why there is such an imbalance of opportunity in this country but not the pap that is pandered as US history in our schools. Try THe Warmth of Other Suns for some real insight.
