It's no less valid than any other theory but it just doesn't ring true to me. it just doesn't make sense. I agree we will never know though. John isn't going to offer up any info, Burke probably doesn't have any if he was asleep (and won't confess if he did it) and Patsy is dead. |
It's bizarre to me that the house was searched by the police and somehow a body lying underneath a blanket on the basement floor was overlooked.....uh, how??
Totally botched...horrible police work. That is why this will never be solved. |
I'd buy this theory. I can see a mom losing it and wanting to smack their kid. (I'm a mom and have wanted to smack my kid from time to time on really trying days.) However, this is what I don't get.... if Patsy smacked her and realized it was more serious than she intended, WHY THE HELL NOT GO TO THE HOSPITAL? After the initial contact, reality should have clicked back in Patsy's head. Not strangle, write a 2-page ransom note, and fake vaginal injury. |
Wouldn't there have been blood in the bed or where the hit happened? If she hit her head? |
I don't know the answer to that. Maybe it was obviously a very bad wound (child had an indentation in her skull), maybe Patsy thought that she was already dead and there was no point in calling 911. Then it just became a matter of trying to figure out how to cover up what happened. Maybe carry a "sleeping" JonBenet out to the car and have her disappear at a rest stop on the way? At some point she checked on her daughter and realized that JonBenet was still breathing, maybe she was foaming at the mouth or making noises of some kind which freaked Patsy out and Patsy simply decided to put JonBenet out of her suffering like one might do for a badly wounded animal. And from there it became a matter of staging...maybe she even decided that framing John was better than being labeled a murderer herself. It is a chilling theory for sure. |
I don't know if there was blood coming from the actual head wound. But maybe the duct tape was used over the girl's mouth to prevent a mess on the bed? JonBenet was Patsy's precious, living, perfect doll. And Patsy would not have wanted to see her living doll less than perfect. |
When Natalee Holloway's mother dated John Ramsey, I wonder if she ever found out that the parents were involved and that's why their relationship ended? |
Okay we get it. When you keep repeating this, you sound creepy. |
Just trying to explain the possible mindset of this mother. It seems possible that Patsy had objectified her daughter so her thought processes may have been a bit different than the average mother's thought processes towards their child. And again it is just a theory about an extremely creepy case. What happened to this innocent 6 year old child was very creepy indeed. |
No. If she had anything concrete about the Ramseys she would have/would said something. |
What kind of mother could do this? And why didn't the family members not involved, assuming someone did it (John and Patsy if it was the brother, John and the brother if it was Patsy) seem more traumatized / freaked out? Their kid was dead, for God's sake! |
^^we saw what the media saw and the media wanted us to see whatever was going to bring on the viewers and the money. You literally have no idea what went on behind closed doors. |
Op her. Meant we saw what the media wanted us to see. |
How do you know for certain? |
A couple thoughts:
Dr Phil does NOT pay his guests and the brother wouldn't need the money, anyway. The mother was a 2-3 time cancer survivor at that time and as she stated, she didn't care about a little bedwetting, or typical 5-6 yr old stuff. She understood the bigger picture in life. Even if she were covering for someone in the family, I can't see a mother resorting to sexual assault trauma to create a case. |
