Oh, come on - how can you not love the Hugh Grant scenes in Love Actually? My favorite is probably the one where he goes to try to find the girl and winds up singing christmas carols to those little girls who dance. Cracks me up every time.

And of course the Colin Firth scene when he flies to declare his love on christmas eve - "he's here to kill aurelia. COOL!"

But isn't completely ridiculous that Colin Firth's character falls in love with someone he can't talk to? Or, hell, maybe that's what some men want.

+1. So fab. It's true he's not a great actor, but he was perfect in that movie. (I suspect he was just being himself.)

No no no no no. I hated that movie and I wanted to love it. The girl (forgot her name) was bat sht crazy. Like, run from her crazy. After the elevator scene I was screaming at the tv. That's a game a seven-year-old plays, not an adult.

Does anyone think he's a good actor? I feel like one day the truth will be known that he is actually a robot.

He was so hot, and so perfect, in Bull Durham, it didn't matter.

Yes, it is what some men want. The movie is packed with little stories about how if you're an attractive-looking woman, you'll be loved. It's very dark.

It is a little rom com but a lot of good drama. Remember when Emma Thompson's character realizes her husband is cheating on her. No histrionics but her anguish was palpable.

Is bull Durham worth seeing? I haven't seen it.
