The guys just don't seem to be genuine. They all look like douche-bags in the pictures.

And knowing all the hype they were putting on Jake's "return" last night. Hey, ABC, I'm not that stupid.

yeah, I was totally grossed out and don't think this is appropriate for network tv. My 12 yr old DD has started watching this with me in the last couple of seasons but there is no way this type of discussion (3rd episode) is appropriate. IT's not appropriate for me and I'm 47. I don't know why they need to go that low and disgusting.

Do you remember in Kaitlyn's season when they had the guys teaching sex ed type stuff with the kids (who were later confirmed to be paid actors)? Ben was outstanding in his part, but many of the other guys were acting like teenagers. People were really upset that they were doing this whole "sex ed" date with kids. Boy, I can't wait for their reaction for the one that's coming up.

When Steve spoiled it, I believe he said "read at your own risk" and yet I proceeded to read. I really wished I hadn't. He was thoroughly disgusted.

I just read that. How the hell is ABC going to make that palatable for network TV?

I also find a lot of these guys extremely effeminate. Maybe I am just getting old, who knows.

Does anyone else find them effeminate? Even Jordan the football guy / player who she kissed on the first ep.

Yes! I was at amazed at how many were wearing skinny jeans in their intros. I don't get it.

I feel awful for JoJo...she got a bunch of duds. The show is gaudier than ever.

So what? Fashionable young men don't generally wear loose-fitting boot cut or dad jeans.

Anyway, the producers probably dress everyone.

I think this otherwise good looking guys look ridiculous in their skinny jeans. It looks like they have leggins on ... not a good masculine look. Nothing wrong with a straight leg pair of pants or jeans. They will look back at this and be really embarrassed.

*THESE otherwise....* --- not "this..."

The producers don't dress everyone. Using Bachelor (not Bachelorette) as an example, they do make suggestions on what the contestants should bring when they first arrive at the mansion (cocktail dresses, swimsuits, etc.). I read on the dates, the producers will give general clothing suggestions (dress, shorts, swimsuit), but everything I've read is the contestants bring their own clothes and decide what to wear.

It's totally conceivable that the producers would suggest "OH, you should unbutton another button to get his attention better."

Surely they must dress the bachelor or bachelorette. I agree skinny pants on men is not a great look but Juan Pabs had the body to pull it off.

They do provide a wardrobe allowance and stylist for the lead. But not the contestants.

Jo Jo's long dresses are always halter neck and low cut at the front, or she wears shorts / short outfits. She is following the tits or legs rule, I believe.

Anyone still watching?

I fast forwarded through most of last nights' episode.

SO EMBARRASING.

Maybe I've just come to the end of my viewing of this franchise. It bores me now. totally.
