I don't see how you could have liked Jordan's proposal. It was all "I want you to be in my life. I love you. I this and I that." No "You are my everything." No "You are the light of my world." It was centered on himself, not her.
Brad 2.0's proposal to Emily Maynard blew me away. I don't know if he came up with that on his own, but WOW. That was one proposal. |
Yeah and how'd that one work out for him? Sometimes the simpler situations go the mile whereas the flowery displays of passion just fizzle |
| Meredith and Ian's is my all-time favorite. But yeah, that didn't end well. |

But you can't judge a relationship by a proposal. Bachelor/ette have a very poor marriage rate, even though it has a very high engagement rate.
As I recall, Sean's proposal to Catherine was lovely and humble. He is the only Bachelor to have gotten married to his Final One. I don't think the producers even care if Ben & Lauren get married. I still do think Brad 2.0 was great. |
| It was also strange how he kept saying that the proposal was more about his conversation with the dad than proposing to her. That seems odd, almost like it was more about male bonding to him with his future FIL, only for him to not ask him in person. Doesn't bode well if you ask me. |
Nah you're reading too much into that. He was just trying to be a good boy. |
