How else do you get wrinkles out of shirts? :/

Do you only buy Brooks brothers no-wrinkle dress shirts? I also like to buy no-wrinkle dress shirts, but unfortunatley, I am unable to exclusively buy no-wrinkle dress shirts.

Get it?

How much savings is it really? Internet by itself is $70 and our triple bundle is $110. Land line or another cell for our kids at home is $20, so cable marginal cost is only $20 and that's before Netflix/prime/sling.

Not the PP, but I think they mean that they have to iron things other than shirts. Not sure if they also mean that some of their shirts are not no-wrinkle as well. I don't really understand why they needed to be so snarky, though.

Take them out of the dryer before they are wrinkled and hang them up immediately. Otherwise, our shirt don't really get wrinkled.

$110 would certainly be a promotional rate, and our internet is $50 (fios). Maybe that's grandfathered in. I don't know, but the initial expense asise, we save about $100 a month. We also save a lot because my kids never see commercials so we don't get inundated with requests for random shit. That's the biggest advantage honestly.

Good quality handbags and wallets. I have some that look almost new despite daily use for more than 10 years. I paid a bundle for them when new, but they certainly saved me a lot of $$ since I have not had to replace them, and they still look good.

Food. I buy organic, CSA's and farmer's markets. It's an investment in my family's health.

Good quality, non-aluminum, not anti-stick stainless steel cookware. I'd buy lead-free ceramic if I had the $$, as they are even better, but mine will last a lifetime and longer.

Comfortable shoes. I didn't do this before, and I've paid for it in foot pain. Now I pay a lot for very good shoes (not stylish, but acceptable looking with a lot of support for my plantar fasciitis). Wish I'd done this years ago. Buying shoes at TJMaxx saved me $$ in the short run, but hurt my feet and didn't cost me $$ and pain in the long run.

Oh so that's how you cure cancer.

Do you work in the medical profession, PP?

Curing cancer is what doctors in the US do, but preventing cancer is what all of us should be doing. Eating organic, non-GMO food is an excellent way to reduce your exposure to pesticides. Study after study has linked pesticides to cancer, so by eating organic, non-GMO food, you are reducing your risk of cancer.

Why ridicule someone with common sense, PP?

Prevention is much easier than curing.

Heredity trumps prevention in many cases.

And this is helpful to whom?

I eat organic. It's not a splurge, it's a necessity. Eat all the crap you want, PP. If you're lucky, you'll live to 100. But study after study says most of us won't be so lucky, and will end up obese, with high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes if we eat a crappy diet. I'm not taking the chance that I didn't win the heredity lottery.
