Anyone bought something "lularoe"

I was once compelled to try several pieces on and the stretch on those things is unbelievable. I wear a 22 in normal human adult clothes and I fit into a medium in LulaRoe. For some pockets of LulaRoe fans, I think they are the clothes of denial.

I have seen these around and they do look cute on certain people in certain prints. But I cannot believe I am thinking this. Should I just find some zellas or teekis in a cute print so I can "fit in" but without changing my standards on sheeple, MLMs, quality clothing? What is wrong with me.

Sorry, PP. The conformist zombies bit you and you didn't feel it; it is now only a matter of time before you start selling Scentsy, posting nonsensical but vaguely uplifting messages on Facebook and compulsively cooking Jamberry nail appliqués on your nails.

I will be blocking you soon.

I understand! Save yourself! (claws at you with my jamberries)

If you don't get it, you don't get it! I really like the pencil skirts and tunic tops together and get compliments all the time. I like the leggings too but don't wear them as pants, just under long tunics or dresses. The idea is to have fun with your clothes and no, the prints aren't for everyone, but a super cute maxi with a quirky print is great for lifting your spirits! Apparently people do like it though because the company has done over 70 million this year alone!

I got to tell you, this is a Mormon company even though they say they are not on their website. THey even have 'Temple clothing' and really push it to the LDS women. It is a pyramid scheme type business. The scheme is to get Mormon women all wrapped up in the LuLaRoe stuff and get them to sell it. When you sign up, you are sent boxes of random UGLY clothing which you must pay for up front and then it is up to you to peddle it. No one gets to pick what they want to sell. The clothing is cheaply made and it is NOT made in America. I live in the heart of Mormon county...Utah...and the poor women out here are all being brainwashed into this stuff. Mormon women are under a lot of pressure to conform and Lularoe is using this to their advantage. If you oppose women being treated as child bearing subservients do NOT purchase LuLa Roe!

Do you have any reputable links? I love to have some intelligent sounding one-liners when I see these.

I bought the leggings for my toddler, very cute. But no woman over the age of 12 should be caught dead in these prints. This is the same as being of the "sweat pants people" my mom warned me not to become.

The sizing runs big and is popular with the plus size women. In addition to the leggings, there's a several styles of dresses, skirts, tops that aren't bad. The patterns can be a bit wild, but I've found some that are cute - if it's a skirt, shirt, or dress - not leggings IMO.

To dispute the PP - when the company started, the clothes were all American made. Now that they've expanded, they've need to add manufacturing from other countries to keep up with demand.

I like the textured skirts and a couple of the dress styles, but the tops all look like maternity tops, and no one over 5 should be wearing leggings as pants, and no one over 20 should be wearing them at all.

I'm about to buy my first Lularoe product - the Randy tee, on Ebay.

Can someone please tell me if I should buy the S or XS? I tend to be a size 4. I don't want it to be tight or baggy. Semi-fitted is ideal.

Someone please help this lularoe virgin!

I have a friend that has bought several pieces that I think are cute, not necessarily my style though. I'd be interested if I could go somewhere to see the clothes in person and try them on, but I'm put off by the facebook selling and limited pieces that each consultant has access to. I'm curious how much things cost though. What's a rough estimate on a dress/skirt/top?

I'll stick to Boden for cute prints.

I went to a lularoe "pop up" party last night. I am pregnant. There is a tshirt called the "perfect tshirt" that is ideal for maternity. I bought one last night, am wearing it now, and asked the lularoe rep to order 3 more in my size in diff patterns.

A friend of mine just bought red ones with huge bald eagle heads on them. I mean, she's 35, why is she wearing these things? I may be embarrassed to be seen with her in them.
