Anyone bought something "lularoe"

Anonymous
I've been invited to 2 of these "popup boutique" parties this week (actually, I've been added to the facebook groups without being asked!)

I'm not going to buy anything--but I looked at the website out of curiosity. I was surprised that most of the models in the pics are quite heavy. There were a couple that seemed about "average" (maybe. It was actually hard to tell because the clothes were loose fitting)--but none that were thin.
Is this company specifically making clothes for plus size women?

I checked it out--to me they looked like they had an assortment of body types. It was refreshing to actually see that the clothes would look like on a average body and plus size women, as well as thinner women. The clothes are very modest, so it's not that evident some of the models are thinner until you see the side view.

One of the moms at daycare wears these leggings, they are hideous.

I am friends on fb with a bunch of army wives and they're sooo into this. The dresses are the same cut but a bunch of different prints? Honestly it hasn't looked flattering on a single person yet. I think the leggings are cute though.

Just saw a friends post on Facebook wearing a LLR dress... so I had to check this out. She's cute and petite and the dress just made her look old lady frumpy.

I bought the leggings in the tall/curvy size as I'm 5'10" tall with a short torso and long legs. They fit like capris! I'm so pissed! There are no returns, only exchanges. I'm not going to exchange them for another pair that don't fit. I spent $25 plus $6 shipping on a pair of leggings! That don't fit!

Stuff is poorly made. I received items that were very see through and the stitching was coming apart.

They have terrible customer service. I called to ask about the fabruc quality and the person on the phone told me and I quote "you should just feel luck to have found a purchased a print you like." He didn't care at all that my dress waant sewn properly and that you could see right through the fabric.
NO refunds only exchanges. Such a pain for poor quality stuff.

I have heard the shirts do not wash well. You need a little lint remover to get the fuzzy balls off after just one wash.

I am friends with someone selling this stuff. I thought I might gt one dress. I figured a good stretchy dress would be great for packing. But dang, every single print is absolutely hideous. I honestly can't figure out if a blind 80 year old mormon is the designer of these prints? My friend posted about 20 dresses and not one was less than horrible. She didn't even have solid colors. Is this a thing for religous, modest dressing women? Wear lots of crazy prints since you can't show your shoulders.

My next door neighbor lives in these hideous leggings, I always wondered where she go them from, today I got my answer. Thanks OP!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks these leggings are hideous.

I wanted to like them -- a young mom I respect is selling them and I would have bought a few things. However, I was disappointed by the ridiculous prints and the general cartoonish appearance on the website so I skipped the open house. They may indeed be comfy but I couldn't get past the silly appearance. Or for that matter, the dumb wannabe-trendy brand name.

I like their Azure skirts. If you can get a print you like, they are super comfy and because they are a-line, they are flattering. I think they are good for an alternative to shorts.

I LOVE their clothes. The dresses and skirts are so perfect and the leggings are the most comfortable. I'm a size 2-4 and the one size leggings are a perfect fit. I haven't had a problem finding prints that I like but I tend to lean more toward the funky trendy prints for my workout leggings, so LLR is right up my alley.

I went to my first party and the feel of the clothes is so soft and comfortable. I bought 3 maxi skirts that can also be worn as a long dress or a short dress! I bought a top and a cardigan. There are a lot of really cute patterns and some that I dint like but other people loved.I would add pictures if I knew how. One maxi is a black print with dandilions and one has polka dots.
