co worker is having an online party via Facebook (sort of an updated version of MLM parties I think) and she was explaining its leggings and dresses in crazy prints. just curious if anyone has bought any of it and what to expect on cost and quality and style. Thanks! |
Currently wearing a pair of LLR leggings. I love them! Very comfortable, and warmer than any of my other leggings. They're extremely soft and come in many fun patterns and prints. I purchased one pair from a mom-friend on Facebook and within 3 months had purchased several more pairs- each time I wore a non-LLR pair of leggings (Hue, Old Navy, Banana Republic) I found myself wishing I was wearing LLRs instead. BUT, please note I wore lots of leggings before discovering LLR, so it's not that I am wearing leggings with more frequency, rather, I am wearing different leggings than I had been. |
I love their stuff and I generally HATE all that MLM crap... |
I just love kind kind of stuff |
No, but several family members have. It is MLM and Mormon-owned. They are super comfortable, but what I don't like about them is the stupid selling scheme. Your seller will only get this random (and in my taste, ugly) bunch of prints. You get to pick from just those patterns, there's no selecting. Also, solid colors are really rare. |
i was wondering about these. A friend invited me to join, but the patterns are all SO ugly! I can't think why grown women think these are fashionable?? |
I just got invited to one of these parties. I looked at the pictures and the stuff looks U-G-L-Y. Does it look better in person? |
I saw a pair in person and they were not attractive. |
I once saw a cute shirt my friend posted for her sale, but she only had one size. There was no ordering. Weird business model.
Not sure why it being Mormon owned is relevant |
thats the other thing that is weird... The competitive buying. Impulse buying. I don't like feeling pushed into something. And sales are final. I was watching a sale tonight out of curiosity and nothing even came up in my size. |
PP here. Some of the patterns I've seen on bloggers online look cute, but the ones I've seen for sale are hideous. I don't think the women buying them are buying them for fashion so much as the stretchy comfort. |
It's relevant to me. I'm not going into the reasons on this forum. |
Anyone else try these leggings? I do love leggings, but hate taking a chance without getting to try them on. |
I have purchased 2 pairs of leggings and a tunic/top thing. All solids. Black leggings, blue leggings and a black top. All super comfortable. The prints are fugly. |
I have. Best leggings I own. I am an 8 and got the OS ones. They fit well. |
