I mean, people pay $800 for ugly-ass knee high boots, so I can understand this. |
Are these the Nordies leggings? I bought DD a pair at Rack and wished they came in my size. A friend sent me a pair of solid LLR leggings but I hate the business model and I only wear solids. I don't need candy corn leggings; I outgrew that look in 3rd grade. |
They have solids in literally every color imaginable. Yes, the crazy prints are more sought after, but that just means basically no competition for the solid colors. |
Lularoe encourages young single mothers to own their own businesses. They know their sellers are young single mothers. And the crazy thing is they offer CRUISE QUALIFICATIONS so young single mothers work like crazy to become cruise qualified and their children get shoved into corners except to model kids Lularoe and then mom leaves her children to run off and go on a cruise! We are so fed up with the intentional separation of mom from her children we all want to cut up all the Lularoe we see. The children are looking at their mother with hate at ages 4 and 2 because they are screamed at for getting near the precious clothing and there will be no reward like a cruise for them except they will get rid of their screaming mothers for a while. That leaves us grandparents who are expected to babysit while mom runs off on a cruise! NO WAY. This is NOT a healthy family business. |
You have to put up $5000 to become a consultant---not exactly "single mom friendly". And as others have said, you get NO choice of the crap they send you and you have to turn around and try to get your friends to buy it. If you, as a grandmother, is getting dumped on by your single parent daughters, that's on you. No one forced you to babysit while your daughter runs off on a cruise. Be angry at yourself for not teaching birth control/marriage before a baby and the inability to say no. No the company |
You're both batshit crazy. |
The fabric is poor quality and does not stand up to washings. I bought two pieces and spent $120. One of the pieces is absolutely formless and unflattering, and the fabric is thin, and seams are already separating. The patterns are not my taste and I could not wear most of the legging patterns which seem designed for college and 20 somethings... I would love to buy from a rep who is my friend, but I just can't.
If Luluroe invested into quality fabrics and quality workmanship, the prices would not be so out of line. The reps make a lot of money - most are stay at home moms, of this I am happy. I just can't be a customer. |
Shit's hideous. |
Leggings are awesome. So comfortable. OS (one size) is a generic size for all. Lots of pretty designs. Not so crazy about the tops/shirts. But I give a 2 thumbs up for the leggings!!!! |
I won a free pair of leggings over the holidays. Previously I always just bought cheap ones at Meijer or Walmart or just slightly cheaper from Buskins. Well... I've gotta say... They aren't any softer than what I get at Meijer and they're ridiculously thin. I got the tall and curvy because I'm 5'9" and size 14. So the fit isn't the issue. But you can see my underwear and skin tone through them and they're black leggings. I'm so happy I didn't waste $25 on these! |
No, it looks worse in person! I was trying to tell friends how bad it was so I went to their site. I told my friends that everything online looks 100% better than in person and it's still ugly. I walked into a pop-up party and thought "this has to be the ugliest and cheapest looking clothes EVER". The patterns are either hideous or frumpy. Don't waste your time. |
