Yes, they exist. My DH and I started as boyfriend and girlfriend in middle school and have been together for 22 years, married for 14 years. We did break up for a year and have certainly had a few bumps in the road but he is absolutely my soulmate. Our relationship has such an ease to it. I couldn't imagine my life without him. After all these years, I still get excited when I think of him and the sight of him usually gives me the "Damn, he looks good" feeling and we have flirty moments that lets one another know that we find each other attractive. He is absolutely the love of my life (not in the butterflies, naive way).
