Can we talk about Danielle? Is she um .... intellectually disabled? Something seems very slow about her. Her teen daughters seem smarter than she is.
I must have missed a week - her guy kept saying she misrepresented things to him - what did she misrepresent? How unattractive she is? He seems smarmy as hell too. I think he should hook up with Anfisa - they seem like a match made in heaven. Nicole also seems really stupid. It's one thing to be so dumb as to not know the culture, but when it's explained you need to LISTEN, lest you get arrested! |
It crossed my mind that he could be undocumented, if you're trying to think of some secret that would affect his ability to get an apartment. If he were undocumented, he would have had to have come at a very young age, just based on his non-existent accent. |
| Poor Danielle. You have to know that you are not attractive. She's basically trailer trash and had her ordered husband thinking otherwise; what a shame. He's no peach either and needs to be deported in my eyes. |
Only a US citizen can petition someone for a K-1 so that makes no sense. |

What Danielle misrepresented was about money. She has none. He thought she did.
I would guess Jorge's problem with renting an apartment might be related to his line of business. |
We actually don't know that they've applied for the K1, so it's not that far-fetched. The show claims that's the premise, but part of the requirement is to have spent time together in person, yet Nicole and Azan are meeting for the first time, so they obviously haven't gotten one. That said, Jorge was arrested and jailed for selling marijuana before he got into the business legally. He has a felony conviction, which rental agences ask about, so that may hinder getting an apartment. Still, pretty boring secret to be dragged out for 4 episodes. |
I thought they said something about only having 90 days now that Anfisa arrived, but maybe not. Even so, he has travelled to other countries to spend time with her multiple times, and if he were illegal he wouldn't have been able to re-enter the country. |

I'm so confused with eh new couple introduced last night. Why would anyone want to be with a guy who said their sons mom is dead, and she's not?
Some women are desperate. |
| The only one of these relationships that seems like it could possibly work is Chantel and Pedro. Nicole and Azan seem like such a mismatch! Plus, he seems to love Morocco a lot (more than he loves Nicole), so why would he think of moving? |
Nicole is just over her head. Why can't she understand the culture of Morocco? |
I think she just doesn't want to understand. She's so needy. He seemed very hurt by the fact that she cheated on him. |
I'm surprised Jorge was finally able to get them an apt! She's such a spoiled, bratty girl. I also wonder about her upbringing since she's 20 and doesn't know how to boil water. |
Does Daniellle's new love interest also need a visa or is he just a chubby chaser? She never seems to put the welfare of her kids before her own needs. |
Yes indeed. A Nigerian Prince who says he lives in Alabama with his child by a dead baby mother (only he lives in Vietnam, his baby's mom isnt dead) You cant makes this stuff up....or maybe you can. Her friends seemed sane. Anfisa/Jorge- I was hoping his secret would be something shocking like: I used to be a woman, I dont really sell Marijuana I sell Coke, I'm in $500,000 debt. Alla/Matt- Alla run Matt has driven away 3 wives and you'll be next. He's controlling and creepy. Nicole - makes Danielle seem like a genius. |
I *love* Anfisa! She comes across as 100% genuine. She knows why she's here, and she is perfectly fine with it. I want to hang out with her, and probably talk shit about other people. Alla is too good for Matt. I understand the desire to find a nice American guy to help her and her son get out of Ukraine, but really, Alla, there are better choices out there. Promise. |
