90 Day Fiance, Season 3

They had a clear mutual understanding--he gets arm candy (I'm beginning to see that his difficulty with American women is probably not just related to his size) and she gets to live a rich lifestyle in America. She held up her end, and he is slowly revealing that he pretty much lied about everything. She's smart to try to get a post nup to avoid being responsible for his debt. But then he acts all offended because all she cares about is money. Yes, Jorge. If you listened to her, you would know that.

He is dim, but that doesn't change the fact that she is horrible. She hit him really, really hard in a recent episode. If roles were reversed and one of the men hit his wife on the show, everyone would be horrified and calling it domestic violence.

What about Alexei this season? He comes across as more controlling and disagreeable.

I was shocked when she did that. It's clear that she abuses him at home. She wasn't even at all apologetic. I can't believe he takes that. And that the producers allow it. Definitely a big time double standard and really disgusting.

To me, Alexei (and Loren) come across as trying to stir up drama to stay on TV. They're both similar ages, same religion, educated, relatively nice families, and their parents all like their new children in law. Their big problems are that she had strippers at her party a year ago and he doesn't love her BFF. oooooooh.

Chantal's family is weird, and so is she. Did they not see the footage from the last season? They're still blaming Pedro for that huge lie. Her brother seems like he's used to getting his way and being an authority. Needs to mind his business and butt out. Actually, Chantal needs to stand up and defend her husband. Pedro seems like a genuinely nice guy. No wonder his mom is so pissed.

Let's be real--George has one of the most punchable faces on TV.

I watched these people last season, and I don't understand the guide listings saying these are new episodes. Is it the same old crap for the millionth time, except with additional footage?

It's a TV show. Reality isn't real.

No, it's a new show called "Happily Ever After" that documents what's happening since they got married.

Can we talk about the decor in Loren and Alexi's house?
(You can watch Episode 3 online... my On Demand hasn't caught up yet!)

That house is absolutely hideous. I thought Lauren would be the kind of girl who had a really cute well decorated apartment even if it's just stuff from home goods

Loren and Alex are my favorite couple but it's clear that all of this drama is made up just for the TV show. I actually know one of the husbands in real life, it was a couple from last season, Fernando and some Columbian girl, I don't remember her name

The condo belongs to her parents - I think they all live there together. Just to explain the odd decor a bit!

You must not know him well if you don't remember his wife's name. Is he still a jerk who obviously wants to marry his mama?

Re: Loren's decor-- that wallpaper in the kitchen! They even wallpapered the electrical outlet cover. I don't like either of them; their drama is obviously contrived. I know it's a cheesy reality show but I want to feel like it could possibly be real at times. The bachelor/bachelorette party stuff is kind of a tired old trope now and it's ott with these two. Move on!

I was thinking Jorge's sisters might be half sisters. Dad divorced and married a younger woman who bore Jorge.

Alexi definitely seems more unlikeable. So it's ok for him to have strippers but he's so upset she had them he is mad for a year? Plus he is very rude to her friend. Hopefully it's all made up to stay on tv but he is coming off as a chauvinist jerk.
