Cleaning lady embarrassment. Help!

Anonymous
Trust me, your cleaning lady has seen plenty of condoms - she may use them herself. On the hierarchy of embarrassing things, thats a '1'. I'm sure most people here were thinking whips and chains, hence the disappointment. Seriously, there is nothing to be embarrassed about.

Just read 5 pages just to find out it was condoms....

Thanks for the disappointment op

Hey OP she probably thinks you are just a savvy shopper. It's good to buy in bulk and save.

OP- wouldn't it be more embarrassing if the cleaning lady knew you weren't having sex at all? I wish I had reason to have a box of 200 condoms....

What? That all? I sometimes accidentally leave out my vibrator.

If I used condoms I'd probably leave them on my nightstand and feel zero shame.

She didn't say anything because she's tactful but I'm honestly so embarrassed!! I want to apologize to her! I added $50 extra to her check today. I'm just scared she's going to judge me or laugh because of what she saw. Help me calm down.

Damn woman - you gave her a $50 tip because she saw your condoms? that was a huge waste of money - uuuuuge!

Condoms? Dang, What a waist of 5 pages. At least make them used condoms. Or something.

A used condom would be sort of embarrassing. A box of condoms..she probably didn't even notice. So what.

Condoms was a diversion. It was really S&M toys I'm guessing.

I'm the pp who had the handcuffs and whip in her closet. The whip was a horse whip souvenir that my boyfriend had picked up years before and the handcuffs were plastic toys that we had....I don't even remember why. He had hung them up in the closet like that for ME to find, not my mom! I swear!!

Extra cash for 'the help' is never wasted money.

That same vibrator fell out of a shoebox (where it was stored just so it wouldn't fall out!) at a later date when I was no longer with DH and a male friend, and colleague, was helping me move. Work was never quite the same.

Seriously, they've seen worse. Good on you for the tip. I would let it slip that I saw all sorts of things from time to time, just to keep 'em coming.

You're supposed to tip movers.

They received a tip, although it wasn't much. We were a young, military couple. I meant there was no extra tip.

Oh man...so many things to be said about extra tip, especially given this thread, LOL.

She is probably confused as to why you paid her an extra $50.
