I don't want to read it, but can someone summarize why the "Kane" thread is SO long?

LOL, my kids are 7 and 3, so they only listen to kiddie CDs. And if I have the radio on when they are in the car, it's classical or WTOP. If I am without them, I listen to 97.1. Now you know why I have no clue who Kane or Donnie Simpson are!

Donnie Simpson is on RnB stations. he has been in the music industry for at least 30 years. Multi-generational. He also hosted a show on BET for many years.

Oh, that makes more sense. Lots of people never listen to local RnB radio stations or watch BET. I don't even know what the local radio stations are that play RnB.

I thought Kane was in Tampa and just syndicated here. I listed to about 5 minutes when the thread got to 500K and then realized that I like music. So I stream in the car.

It's that long because he has a crazy fanbase that responds to each other incessantly and seem to be using that thread as a kind of message board to chat about their day and bash the guys wife. It's weird.

Those people clearly don't follow entertainment, and especially in the last few weeks when Donnie was on TV promoting it. Yes, he is a legend. You can make the same argument for Jack Diamond, Don Geromino and Mike O'Meara as well.
