Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are getting divorced

I'm predicting Kelly Clarkson and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, but I hope not.

Well the front seat's broken and the axle's draggin'.
Now he's really mad he let her record the song of her career: "The House That Built Me" (which he had on hold and thankfully gave it to her. What a tragedy it would have been if he recorded it instead).

I don't really know anything about Blake Shelton, because country music sung by males has been terrible for at minimum 15 years, and I generally hate that the people who sing country music songs don't write them. But the first time I heard "The House That Built Me" I burst into tears. It is that good.

"Mama's Broken Heart" is also awesome.

So, Team Miranda here? Don't tell anyone.

I thought I read in an interview they were having a hard time getting pregnant, but maybe I'm wrong. That could have added stress to the marriage. But I wouldn't be surprised if he thought he could"do better" now that he had more fame.

"The House That Built Me" is great, and I too cry every time, but I don't think it is her signature song. "Kerosene" then "White Liar" more likely.

She was asking "Priscilla" how she did it, looks like poor Miranda has to go the same route.

Aww...I was sad to read this.

They were a cute couple. So in love. And down to earth.

But my gut always felt like Blake was cheating on Miranda. Which probably lead her to lose all that weight.

If my gut is right, karma will get him.

If I am wrong, then I wish him luck.

^^That's funny you say that because I hold it against Blake that he doesn't write his own songs, he barely plays an instrument and he chooses such do simple easy songs (granted, that all shoot to #1) and his performances are very static. Compare Keith Urban who writes a lot of his songs, tries new things that aren't always easy, is a true guitar hero and puts on one of the best live concerts ever. There are lots others with several of these qualities. ZBB, Dierks Bently, Brad Pasley to name a few. As for Miranda, I don't love her "Kerosene" additude in songs but totally give her props for singing "real" country the way she wants to and she changes for nobody. She writes a lot of her own material (more of her older stuff) but not HTBM. So yeah, Team Miranda on this one.

I thought it was impressive that they got it all done to announce it the day it was signed. None of this is-the-ring-on-or-off, who looks sadder know that they've announced their separation, when will they file stuff? Proves that celebrities can still have a degree of privacy in this day and age if they are committed to doing so. This was probably the 'stealthiest' celeb divorce since Katie Holmes dumped Tom Cruise.

HAHA!!!!! Nice job w/the lyrics!

These people that keep saying "who" are poking fun at the others here, or are that clueless about the entertainment industry.

I always got that impression too about Blake. From day one really.

You would like Kacey Musgraves if you don't already listen to her

I can't believe I'm contributing to this thread since I don't know the first thing about Miranda or Blake, or country music. For what it's worth, I heard on the radio this morning that Miranda cheated on Blake with 2 men.

You mean like a 3-some? What radio station do you listen to?

Allegations are going to start flying. The truth will probably come out in a while.
