That's interesting, pp...since none of the things you listed will actually impact your life in a real way. Whereas the herps will be the first thing you think about when you wake up, and the last thing you think about before going to sleep each night. |
Why? Don't knock it until you try it. |
That's pretty dramatic. I have herpes and I never think about it. If you are obsessing over that day in and day out, it's time to get help. |
| Honesty and loyalty are my absolute number one priority so yes, I would want to know. No doubt about it. |
I think the PP was expressing approval (the posts renew his faith). |

I am surprised so many people here want to know. Sure, if your marriage was on the rocks, being told infidelity was the cause (or effect) would be useful. But if otherwise happy, and especially if infidelity in the past, what good does it serve? Would you also want to know when your spouse is fantasizing about the hot teacher while you are having sex? Or that your spouse doesn't find your weight gain or wrinkles cute?

This thread, and the one that inspired it, is about current, active cheating, not past cheating. And there is a difference between thoughts and acts. Thoughts can't give me an STD, get anyone else pregnant, or any other number of things. |
