But--I never would have launched a personal attack about somebody's education or appearance. I would have been going off that I was not illegally parked. It would have been an argument on the merits. My father always taught me you treat everyone with respect from the janitor in your building, etc. he is a man of his word. At 25 I worked in the building at the Office he had worked at for 25 years already and every security guard, clerk, janitor, etc lived him and would tell me what a funny and decent man he was. He grew up poor and his father used to tell him every job has value where would we be if our trash didn't get picked up, etc. I teach my kids the same. We are polite to the checkout people, the parking attendants, etc. they are taught to look them in the eye say 'hello', thank you, etc. |
+100! I was taught the same. |
As soon as I saw her comments I knew she is on DCUM!
|
| Her non-apology on Twitter definitely confirms DCUM posting experience. |
Patronizing but nonetheless reasonable advice. |
Not a good reason to go off on a particular employee. If you have a problem with the company, address it with the higher-ups. Leave the powerless help alone, they are just trying to get by. |
http://awfulannouncing.com/2015/britt-mchenry-also-recently-ugly-confrontation-another-woman-twitter.html That is one example. |
|
To take it Britt's level- I don't even think she's that hot. She bleached her hair and teeth and lots of self-tanner. Not a natural beauty. Mouth is weirdly crooked when she smiles.
Mean girl. Don't like it at all. |
Actually it's the giant forehead. |

Even if the towing company has some questionable tows or bad driving in other situations, isn't it true that Ms. McHenry left her car in a parking lot where it was noted that it should not be left, and the towing company had every right to tow it?
She can be mad at the company all she wants, but (1) sounds like she was in the wrong, and (2) low class to attack the attendant personally especially when the towing company was in the right. |
|
The video shouldn't have been edited, that is the suspect part about this.
But yes, she shouldn't have fired off insults. I have met her twice, and felt she was a nice person both times. She has stayed off Twitter since this broke, which is something I suspect ESPN told her to do. |
|
Hey Britt,
Beauty fades. Stupid is forever. You weren't hired for your brilliant journalism and keen intelligence. The bubble-headed bleached blonde who goes on at five? That's you! |
| the public should demand to see the unedited video. This is completely injustified. |

Hilarious Funny Or Die parody with David Spade. |

Britt McHenry’s one-week suspension following the release of an edited tape showing the ESPN reporter berating a tow company clerk ends Thursday. She’ll be back on television in time for next week's NFL Draft, according to SI.com. ESPN senior coordinating producer Seth Markman told SI that McHenry, a Washington D.C.-based bureau reporter, will have similar assignments throughout the NFL season as she did last year. McHenry will be in St. Louis to report on the Rams during the first round of the draft on April 30. |
