Please pick up your fish!!

This is hysterical. I nominate it for the best thread ever!

OP - Are you sure your neighbor hasn’t actually MOVED? As in, left town?
Maybe you have been duped into becoming a new fish owner.

But the fish will die on Thursday, right before he picks him up. Of course, I will say, he was still alive on Sunday when you were supposed to pick it up! But neighbor will think it's been dead the entire time!!

My DH gets home around 7PM - I may ask him to go to neighbor's house.

So, is it *REALLY* a fish, or is it like a tadpole with a fish's name (is it named Donna?)

No - the fish's name rhymes with a female body part...

Did you talk to the mile-away neighbor tonight?
Why haven't you posted back?
How is the fish?

OP if you know the address (since you at least know where he lives) can't you look up the guys name and therefore get his phone number? It can't be THIS hard to track someone down.

I need a life.

But more importantly, did your DH go to drop off the fish?

I am also back for a status update. I need a life too.

He may not even remember which house if was if he dropped it off at or have your contact info, since you said you didn't know his name or phone number.

He abandoned his fish.

This is hysterical -- absolutely hysterical! I'd been wondering what the title of the thread could possibly mean, and this whole string has exceeded all expectations. Well done, OP and DCUMers!

Cannot wait to see how the Goldie Saga plays out!

OP, if you know which house, then early in the morning (like around 6:45) bring the fish over and leave it on the doorstep, the bowl nestled in a warm towel.
