What's the cutest thing your pet has done today?

I got home today after an 8 day trip out of state. Came into the house, dropped my suitcase on the floor, and in less than a minute my dog came running toward the entryway, took a flying leap, and and catapulted herself over my bag (which was right in the doorway to the next room) to greet me. This from a rescue who cowered and shook for months after I adopted her in 2007. She is the best.

My little one curled up right next to me, picked up the end of the fleece blankie and proceeded to suckle on it, while "kneading" the blankie and her bed. She does this often and is very charming every time. Mommy's heart melts............!

They know when they are safe and loved and finally home with their family:

We were outside playing in the backyard today and she was incredibly frisky, running around in circles--at one point a leaf became attached to her back leg and she would run a few steps and then whip around indignantly to see what was following her and seeing nothing start running again and then stop indignantly again--she's an imperious little terrier so this affront to her dignity was hilarious. I removed the leaf.

This wasn't today, but last night my dog and cat (who usually sit at least a few feet from each other) both decided to snuggle up with my pregnant belly. My cat perched on one part of my stomach and my dog rested his head on the other side. They were cheek to cheek and keeping the baby warm lol. I feel like they're waiting for me to hatch!

My dog discovered the joy that is playing fetch with snowballs.

My new kitten spent the day curled up in a blanket with my 8 year old kid who is home sick from school and spend most of today on the couch and watching cartoons. The two got to know each other and I think that they'll soon be best friends.

I got a new phone today, and my (tall, big-boned) cat tried to wedge himself in the 6x6x3 box it came in. Couldn't even get all 4 feet in at once.

My cats talk. All. the. time. They have these vocalizations when they purr, they have regular meowing and a whole series of other noises that makes me wish I speak cat.

I'm sick today and confined to the couch. One cat is purring and kind of humming and her kitty sister is sitting on my lap, meowing a monologue about some subject she finds very important. My dog is napping, curled around the purring cat.

It is very cute.

I always drop a treat for my dog when I leave the house and she always keeps it until I come home. She will greet me at the door and then she will go get the treat and walk over to me with the treat and she doesn't eat it until I'm here with her. I don't know why it's so cute to me, but it just is.

She also loves to lay in the sunlight, so I have her bed near the sliding glass door where the most sun comes in. She will scratch at the window to try to get more sunlight. If I move her bed a little so it's more in the sun, she is satisfied and lays down and takes a nap.

She gets excited when I bring home a fresh bag of dog food. She wants me to open the new bag even if we still haven't finished the old bag lol. Now I wait until the old bag is empty before I bring in a new bag.

She is bell trained to go outside and she tries to ring the bell quietly, but if nobody responds quickly enough she will ring it a little louder until she gets someone's attention. So polite lol.

Puked at 4am.

At least it was on tile floor.

Border terrier dog tries to talk by yawning loudly and extravagantly. I also enjoy that he lets me know his water dish is empty by digging in it and making a racket.

Our german shepherd pup passed out with her head in her food dish and her paws wrapped around her bowl.

My puppy just got fixed, and the cat is currently sleeping on the dog's Cone of Shame to assert his dominance over the dog.
