He was! We went to a pet store and he said that reptiles are his favorite and this we were the first people to ever bring a snake to pose with him. |

| My new kitten is really curious about the Christmas tree, but she doesn't want to get too close. She has set some kind of invisible barrier around it that she won't cross, but she's been circling the tree and batting at the air for about an hour now. |

| I gave my dog an empty water bottle today and now he loves it. It makes a satisfying crunching noise when he chomps down. I just really hope he doesn't swallow any of the plastic! |

| My cat had a horrible injury and half his face abscessed and is currently shaved and "draining" everywhere. So that's obviously not the cute part. The cute part is that I have been coming up to him with warm washcloths to clean him up, and today I wet a washcloth sat down (about to call him) but he came running over when he saw the washcloth and just put his face up against it. Poor baby. |

(\__/) (='.'=) (")_(") He has an old stuffed bunny toy that he carries everywhere and is very protective of. Today he picked up the bunny from the floor and tossed it in his doggy bed, almost as if he could not bear to see the bunny on the cold floor, and then trotted off to another room. Utterly human! |

| He hugs me when I get home from work. I kneel on the floor and he puts his paws on my shoulder and lets me hug him for a couple minutes. |

| I had to work today(at home) and I decided that my dog should hang out on the bench that faces my desk. I gave her the signal to jump up on it, and that's all it took. Now she lays there sleeping, looking out the window, looking at me... it makes sitting at my desk so much nicer. |

When I head upstairs, my cat always runs ahead, waits for me at the 3rd step, expecting to be patted. Then he stays ahead of me two steps while I climb the stairs and pat him. He is a stairway dog.

When my bird is on my hand, if I hold in front of my face and baby talk, he leans forward as far as he can to kiss me. Then with his beak against my lips he baby talks back to me! Then he snuggles in my hands, still baby talking.
He loves paper plates with a rim. He steps on the rim of the plate. It goes up, and he shifts his weight and it's like a see-saw. Just pure play. |

| My 18lb fluffy Maine Coon cat loves to sit in my lap, knead at my chest, and give me head bumps. He is so warm that I don't need a blanket or sweater and his purring is giving me a nice little massage. |
