My dog has been adorable all day. He keeps trying to bring his new chew toy up on the couch, but the toy is big so he misses the couch. He successfully got it up there once but promptly dropped it on the floor. He looked so sad and dejected that I got up and gave it back to him but warned him that I wouldn't rescue it a second time.
My cat found a hair tie and has been batting it around the house. She stops in her tracks if she notices that I'm looking her, so I keep trying to stalk her around the house and catch her in action. |
| My cat is currently curled up next to me in bed. This is a daily occurrence but she still manages to melt my heart every time. |
| My very patient old dog had a tea party with my toddler today. |
| My cats have a new kitty condo, which they have been having a ball on for the past hour, but every time they catch me watching them they freeze, as if maybe they aren't supposed to be on it and if they sit very still I won't see them. |
| I am working in my home office and my yorkie, who normally hangs out on the couch in the front window, casually strolled up to my doorway. I got excited that he wanted to hang out with me so I baby talked him to come to mommy...and he proceeded to turn around and walk away. He is so rude. |

I admit, I can be very annoying when around my cat. He's just so soft + adorable, I cannot help myself. I love to hug him and cuddle him and all that good stuff. He on the other hand, just isn't a "cuddle"kind of kitty, whenever I snuggle him, he always tries to make a clean break from me. LOL.
Anyway, so I see him from afar....Awake and licking himself and/or just looking around wide awake. Then as I approach him and he hears me coming, he quickly puts his head down and the little trickster closes his eyes quickly and pretends to be asleep, hoping I will leave him alone. Hahahahahaha!!!!! Con artist. |
This is funny |
| My dog knocked over our 2ft tall Christmas tree and got trapped under it. I hope that the time out it gave him made him learn his lesson. |

Love reading these…so much more pleasant than the usual DCUM posts!
My dog is napping next to me as I eat my lunch at the kitchen counter…every so often he lets out a deep, soulful sigh as if he's saying"Ah…life is good" and it sure is when I hear that. |
| My cat is in my bed with his head on my pillow. He was still tired when he woke up and decided to take a nap. He quivers with kitty dreams. |
Our cat fished the key to the porch out of a drawer and tried to insert it into the lock for about 10 minutes. Made me truly appreciate having opposable thumbs

| The way my dog enthusiastically, out of the blue, will run and pounce on one of his toys as if it was not an inanimate object or as if he just noticed it and is so happy to see it. |
| I'm having a hard time with depression right now, so my 80 lb. husky has gone into lap dog mode and will not leave my side/lap. He's old and usually just hangs out in his bed. |
| I had a panic attack this morning (rare for me) and my dog, who has never experienced this, jumped onto the bed and cuddled up to me. He had such a look of concern on his face and licked my tears. It was exactly what I needed to calm down and relax. I feel so grateful for such a sweet companion. |
Funny, whenever my dog lets out one of those long sighs I take it as a "FML" |
