And that's fine. But they also looked mighty snotty. And just because they are the President's kids, doesn't mean someone can't say "Wow, those are some bitchy faces!".

What most moms would say to the Obama girls' critic: Leave those kids alone

Excellent article. I was just coming here to post a link to it. Glad someone beat me to it.

Everybody is quick to stop assaults on politician kids , except Sarah Palins . I think the closer you are to God, the more the World attacks.

The writer sounds like a complete idiot.

Yes I agree.

Eh. Malia is tall and skinny. As a former tall and skinny teen with long legs, it's actually really hard to find skirts and dresses that don't look too short, because the skirts that are short enough to fit your hips are shorter because they are a smaller size.

Oh please. I was a tall skinny teen and am a tall skinny grown woman and somehow I've always managed to dress appropriately.

Some of you are bitches just like the racist bitch who picked on the girls. Kids are off limits. And, the girls looked fine...just like any other teenagers.

What comments did the woman use that leads you to believe she is racist?

End of her political career.

She did resign...plenty of links online at Politco and WP.

Look at her LinkedIn page...she belongs to DAR. They will bounce her...they don't need racist publicity.

Good rule, but it needs a catchy rhyme: "Three glasses of wine; don't post online."

The girls are teens and they dressed just fine. That is what teens look like nowadays. I didn't see anything wrong with their outfits. As far as the facial expressions go, I think this was blown WAAAAY out of proportion. They may have been uncomfortable standing there and I don't think, it was a big deal at all. These are TEENS! I wonder if Ms. Lauten is a mother herself. If she is, then she should understand teen behavior. If she is not a mother, then she needs to keep her comments to herself.

Didn't her kids participate in reality tv?
