How Long After Shower Can I Go Outside

I had a friend who was a full grown adult who believed if she didn't tuck her pajama top into her pajama bottoms she would get a tummy ache. Her mother told her so. No joke I went out of town with her once and there she was with her pajama top properly tucked into her hiked up pajama bottoms. My friends and I still snicker over this....but we still love her

hahahaaa. wtf.

20-30 minutes. My mom always told me the same thing. Say what you want but I do know one thing, I can count on three fingers the amount of colds I have had in my life. I am over thirty.

It's not a cicada year, OP, so I think your pores are safe.

Just so we're clear

OP: I see that most responders did not answer your question, or gave you a very unhelpful range. The answer is exactly 16 minutes. Germans researched this awhile ago.

How many times do you count each finger?

Call your mom. She will tell you. Seems you still need her daily guidance.

My uncle is a doctor and told me that when your pores are open after showering, you are very susceptible to environmental toxins compromising your overall health because they can enter through open pores. They can wreak havoc on your internal systems for a long time before the first symptoms even develop, and by the time you find out your body is full of toxins, you are very sick.

Better get out the foot pads and ear candles to pull those toxins out!

You are misinformed. 17 minutes at the very least.

Ah yes, the dreaded "toxins"...

OP is correct; it is a proven fact that going out into the cold immediately after a warm bath is not healthy.
