Actually it was and the Church sanctioned it. Didn't the late Pope John II apologize for it on behalf of the Church. |
It was not. Get your facts straight please. Hitler was motivated by creating a world with only Arian people left in it. |
So, blonde, blue-eyed Jews were not slaughtered? |

No, the Bible says it. You can keep ignoring it, it won't change the facts! http://www.latintimes.com/1500-year-old-bible-discovered-turkey-indicates-jesus-christ-was-not-crucified-171471 A 1500-year-old bible has been discovered in Turkey. Discovered in 2000, the book that contains purportedly the Gospel of Barnabas has been transferred by the Turkish government to the Ethnography Museum of Ankara with a police escort. Barnabas was a disciple of Christ, and in the work, claims that Jesus was not crucified, instead it says he ascended to heaven alive and Judas Iscariot was crucified in his place. Furthermore, the 1500-year-old bible states that Jesus Christ was not the son of God, but simply a prophet who passed on the word of God. |
Yawn. Another "found" source. There seems to be about one of these per year, and eventually they are all shown to be frauds. This one was found in Muslim Turkey, no less, plus it dates from 500 years after Christ. Yawn. Dear Muslim Woman: if you want people to respect your religion, you need to respect others' religions (including refraining from inflammatory statements involving obvious BS.) Also, you need to be more honest: some of us could take on your statements above about, for example, jihad and woman in the Quran, but we 're leaving it alone. There's a bad taste, though, because you're presenting a very incomplete view of your own religion even as you trash other peoples' religions. |
You are free to ignore the truth if it makes you feel better. However, there are enough studies written that evidence the Protestant and catholic chi ur he's collaborations in what they did and failed to do in the 1933-45 Holocaust. |

To the people saying the Holocaust was religiously motivated: Do your research.
Yes the church participated. So did the entire country of Germany. Companies, private people, the church, everybody...that does NOT make it religiously motivated. You are sounding ridiculous if you keep making this argument, it is simply false. And either way, this argument is invalid. Just because others do bad things does not make the bad things your religion does any better. Stop arguing that way! The only way you will ever gain the respect and MAYBE trust of people criticizing Islam is if you ACCEPT what's wrong with your religion and try to fix it. As long as you pretend everything's fine you will simply see eye rolling, shaking heads, people shrugging and turning away from you. |
Are you forgetting the Orthodox Serbs of the 1990s? Or, The Rwandan Holocaust of the 1990's. I know people want to chalk these up as ethnic wars, but those atrocities fell along religious lines and it was the Christian doing the killing. Look, just admit it. All the religions have their fanatical murdering followers. You can find the beauty in every religion, but they all have that festering maddening evil, if one does not conform. |
Okay, if you say so, It must be right. Got It! |
I am not Muslim. I was raised a Southern Baptist. If you PP and others continue to deny atrocities committed in the name and/or guise of Christianity, how can you ever gain the respect and MAYBE trust of others who don't believe as you. |
Not the PP you're talking to, but ... this is a thread on Islam. Why are you trying to turn it into yet another anti-Christian bash-fest? I don't care, and I'd even encourage you to go start your own thread, but can you at least keep the anti-Christian stuff out of this Islam thread? Also, PP has a point: if we're discussing Islam, it's besides the point to bring up atrocities committed in the name of Christianity or Judaism. Or Atheism, hello. Focus, people! |
Correct. A new world order for the master race. Others did not need to exist. They did not invent the doctrine. Eugenics they got from America, concetration camps had already been used previously by the Brittish. Americans had a system of discrmination based on race. The swastika was a hindu symbol that predates them. Jews who had changed their religion were not spared. And they were not the only targets |
