You know what my point is, you just pretend you don't. Today more people are killed and tortured every day in the name of Islam than any other religion. Islam is openly raging war against unbelievers. No, not all Muslims think that way. But enough do. Too many do. And as long as that doesn't get fixed there will always be a struggle to accept Islam in the modern world.

The Holocaust and the pogroms were not religiously motivated by the way. Yes, Jews were killed, but the reason there were killed was not because of their religion. It was because of their ethnicity. It was ethnically motivated (the supreme white skin, blonde hair, blue eyes race...)

The Holocaust and the pogroms were not religiously motivated by the way. Yes, Jews were killed, but the reason there were killed was not because of their religion. It was because of their ethnicity. It was ethnically motivated (the supreme white skin, blonde hair, blue eyes race...)

And financial motivation. Look, our country's economy is messed up, it can't be because we just waged the first works war, so let's find someone else to blame.

Really, the Russians were restricted to the Pale of the Settlement, unless they converted to Orthodox Christianity. I'm pretty sure their ethnicity did not change upon conversion.

Yeah, the last time people killed in the name of Christianity (and only to my knowledge) were the crusades (against islam).

So many people kill in the name of islam, and the faith as a whole is doing nothing about it. I know it's a small percentage, but I am sure only a small percentage of the KKK has killed people, but I'm not about to become a member of that organization either. The point is, as long as this behaviour has a basis in the Quran, it sort of invalidates the religion as a whole IMO. They need a council of nicea of sorts to address this issue once and for all and to have an official proclamation on their beliefs with regard to all of the various types of human rights violations (and deaths) in the name of islam.

Plus, the Quran flat out says the crucifixion was fabricated and is a lie. Even christianity doesn't say to judaism part of their religion is B.S. Again, this to me invalidates the whole Quran.

We point out, too, that maybe, just maybe, we're jumping to conclusions -- although in my heart of hearts I am resigned. Yet Catholics from the Irish Republican Army terrorized Great Britain for years. And a Jewish terrorist assassinated Israeli Prime Minister Itzhak Rabin. Homegrown Americans blew up the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.

Remember that terrorism is political, not religious -- and even if people who are Muslim are indeed the perpetrators of this atrocity, neither Islam nor the billion-plus Muslims in the world are all to blame. It's just a few too many deranged and dangerous criminals who don't understand that Islam is a religion of mercy. And that is something I do understand, as do most other Muslims.

Let me reiterate something I've written before: These crimes against humanity are in no way a "jihad." They are in no way a struggle or striving to do God's will. These are acts of what we call in Arabic hiraba. Terrorism. They are acts that defile Islam. Every Muslim individual and organization I know condemns these acts of terrorism, BUT of course it won't be enough, so you know what? The thing is we Muslims do not give a rat's as.s whether you think this invalidates our religion or not, we are still going to believe what we do. The US has killed more Muslims over the past 30 years than all terrorist attacks COMBINED

If you take every death caused by a terrorist attack (including 9/11) over the past 30 years - and then add in everyone killed by mob violence in Islamic countries - it would absolutely pale in comparison to the number of Muslims that have been killed by the American military in the same time period. 

In just the Iraq war alone, the US managed to kill nearly a million Iraqis - a large percentage of whom were civilians who had nothing to do with the conflict. Add to that the number of Muslims killed in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, etc in the so-called "War on Terror" so don't come here looking for sympathy!!!!
