Driving barefoot or with one leg up on the seat

Google for images of people who had their feet on the dash when the airbag goes off and get back to me.

You gotta be a leg man to understand.. I saw my first beaver early 80s in Dallas Texas. A woman of 40hrs ( little more little less) dress in a business suit complete with flesh tone pantyhose! I was about 25 and had my CDL. I looked over and this good looking corporate office worker had her skit pulled up to her waist Left Foot on Seat and those flesh tone pantyhose were shinning in the Dallas sun!! I still remember the blue panties underneath the nylons,,,, been hooked ever since. Mercy,,, Wow

You revived a 2014 post to let us know this?

I use both feet to drive an automatic.

That’s not a true beaver shot if it’s covered.

It’s fine to drive barefoot. It’s unsafe to drive without shoes but with socks on.

It’s safer to drive barefoot than with flipflops, for example.

That’s sort of crazy - you should not do this. Way more dangerous than driving barefoot.

I drive barefoot regularly, but I would never put my feet up on the dash. That’s a recipe for paraplegia.

Ha! Who is calling me trashy? I drive with my left foot in the corner of my dash and door or resting out near the side mirror. In the van, in the little window on the dash. I like the breeze going through my toes and it is just so comfy. On long trips as a passenger, I put both feet up on the dash. I am country, I admit but not trash. Now reading about the accidents in the link above, that is scary. I guess I will have to stop because when you know better you do better.

You sound short.

I wear sandals or flip flops. Not safe to drive in so I take them off and drive barefoot. It’s comfortable and no big deal.
