Weaning = instant flat stomach?

Ha. My insufferable SIL would brag that all her baby weight just vanished right after birth...and would then add that it came right back because of the sleep deprivation. Um, yes, that's it, you had a flat stomach and no extra weight the day after your kid was born, and then gained ten pounds in the two weeks following.

I had an 8-pack. Funnily, I had a 6-pack before birth but my stomach looked better immediately after!! Anyone else?

I was up on the runway.

Fat loss can happen after weaning. Unfortunately where it makes a negative impact is the boobs. That's how you get the deflated boobs from - not sagging, just deflated.

Damn, y’all sound like a bunch of fat jealous bitches 😂😂😂

No. Not for me.

+1. Oh my gosh, no. Wish it had been that easy, but nope, not at all. Still have all of the extra stuff much, much later.

I’m happy you are happy with the way you look. It’s always great when moms of young babies like their bodies and feel comfortable.

No, it was an instant 10 lbs for me. I’ve never been as thin as I was while nursing.

Yeah I lost the baby weight immediately... because I was barely eating while struggling with PPD. I'd definitely not recommend it.

For me it was my boobs that became so sad and flat after weaning. Sigh.

Same here. Crazy how much weight fell off while nursing.

Op- please have your thyroid checked. Graves’ disease is can be triggered by hormone fluctuations (like in weaning or postpartum)

I lost approximately zero pounds due to breastfeeding with all 3 kids, and bf actually made me hang on to the last 10 lbs until I was done. So yes, lost weight after weaning.
