| I am the poster w/ a nanny while the kids are in school. I know, it is ridiculous, but my youngest needs to be dropped off and picked-up for preschool and it is 8 miles in the opposite direction of work. If I drop her off I can't get into the office until 10:15ish which doesn't work. My son's bus doesn't arrive until 8:25ish and I usually need to leave by 7:45 to get downtown at a reasonable hour. Also, the kids schedules aren't synchronized so between the two of them they have a TON of days off. Throw in sick days, snow days and vacation days and it just makes it less crazy to have a nanny. Thankfully our nanny is an amazing housekeeper so she cleans/organizes when the kids are in school. |
