Which "celebrities" have you met who look great/awful in person?

Now departed Amy Winehouse, at a pub. Hot mess.

Kate Hudson, at the grocery store. Immediately recognizable. Very pretty. Tiny.

John Voight, hotel lobby. Surprisingly tall. Otherwise, looks exactly as you'd expect.

Reese Witherspoon: pretty but not someone you would notice if she wasn't famous
Kelly Rippa: insanely skinny/tiny. No surprise but still. She is a tiny stick.

Harry Connick, Jr. - A little more "wiry" build than I expected, but still dreamy and incredibly nice.

Lauren Holly - Also tiny, very pretty, looked a little older in person than on TV. She was nicer than I expected.

Prince Andrew - Looks exactly like he does in pictures and on TV.

Ben Affleck and Alec Baldwin - Both gorgeous.

Margo Kidder, who played Lois Lane opposite Christopher Reeve, was very attractive in person and super nice.

I see Wolf Blitzer, David Gregory and George Will a lot at Nationals games. They look exactly the same as they do on TV.

She's not a very nice person either, in my experience. My mother is a seamstress and she used to make dresses for Vanessa to wear in pageants. Her back was covered in pimples and acne scarring. I remember one dress my mom made her was backless, cut in a v-shape. My mom had to put a mesh material in the cut-out back to cover the skin imperfections.

I saw Jennifer Connelly a few weeks ago in NYC. I think she's stunning on screen, but IRL with no makeup she looks kind of plain and is very petite.

Jerry and Charlie O'Connell at a college friend's wedding, both handsome but sort of pasty and soft in the face during their hard-drinking days. Very nice normal guys, I sincerely hope they are in AA now and that they are happy.

Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke while they were married. I thought she was a man in drag at first glance and then realized who she was. Totally unattractive.
He looked like a bum -- unkempt, greasy hair. Also unattractive.

Woody Allen -- same as in movies. short and unattractive.

Timothy Hutton - cute, but nothing special.

Gwyneth Paltrow -- pasty and plain. nothing special at all.

Giada--- cute and petite but has a bobble head appearance

Mario Batali-- looks exactly like he does on tv; even at the zoo he was sporting orange clogs with socks

David Schwimmer--- he had on a hat so I didn't notice him until someone pointed him out; tall but not especially handsome

Wolf Blitzer---his beard is awesome

Britney Spears--- front row of a concert back in the Justin Timberlake days; she was in great shape and could dance her ass off; magnetic smile

Billy Corgan was actually very handsome and normal looking. He was wearing jeans and a rugged wool sweater and he was buying fruit. He has huge hands, and I thought they were very sexy. I was surprised.

I saw Chris Martin from Coldplay. He was relaxing in a small pub in Seattle. I was there with a large group of people and there was a decent band playing. I kept noticing this guy in the corner quietly observing the pub. He had a guy with him that looked like a friend but also maybe a securtiy guard. It took awhile but I realized who he was. He looks good, but is very thin and pale. He did not socialize and he left so quietly I didn't notice for a long time. Of course no one believed me. Lol.
