Which "celebrities" have you met who look great/awful in person?

Jessica Biel - really bad nose job, horrible fake-looking teeth, wouldn't look twice at her on the street except to notice the bad plastic surgery

John Travolta - looks great in person, photos don't do him justice

Interesting. I saw him in the street once and don't remember his as "short." Now, Sylvester Stallone, that is another story. I about laughed when I saw him on the street in New York. Explains why his "leading ladies" in the movies are actresses we've almost never heard of - they have to look far and wide to find women shorter than he is!

Pierce Brosnan is every bit as dreamy IRL as he is on TV & movies.

Andrea Mitchell - positively tiny! Pixie-like! Amazing that she projects such authority on tv. Hair way too blonde for her olive complexion. Very lined face.

Sam Donaldson - seeing his "hair" up close is jarring; it's definitely dyed and carefully arranged over a completely bald scalp. I imagine that w hen he takes his hair down at night, one side would reach his shoulders. Lots of thick gel holding it all together.

Anonymous wrote:Anthony Stewart Head. lol, NOTHING like Giles in real life. Very sexy, and super nice.

James Marsters, again, very sexy and super nice.

Not really a celebrity, but Doug Bradley (the actor who plays Pinhead in Hellraiser). lol, he was a tiny, super short old man wearing a fanny pack.

Ethan Hawke. lol, I pretty much *have* to say he looks great (he's a family friend)

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick - both look pretty haggard IRL.

Glen Danzig - awful in person, and super short

Lars Frederickson - haggard...and a jerk. My friend dated him

Are you from NJ? My old roommate is also a family friend.

Nope, sorry. I did go to college in NJ, but never lived there.

Bill Murray. Very tall but bad skin.

She ruined her nose! It was perfect before she went surgery crazy.

PP here 10:26. My previous job put me in contact with local and national reporters.

Chris Gordon - I've had a crush in him since I was a young teenager. Met him in person and nearly swooned. Stunning, sparkling blue eyes, very ruggedly handsome in person but SHORT...maybe 5' 8"? Still, exceedingly polite, professional and kind, a rarity among colleagues. Love him.

IJ Hudson - former local reporter, now spokesman with a water authority. Taller than I thought, older looking in person and I'll never forget the way he ogled me. Creepy vibe, although I was a slim 20something then with long blonde hair. Beady eyes.

Pat Collins - hot mess. Used to wear jacket, tie, dress shirt, vest and then baggy, saggy jeans and filthy running shoes -- looked professional from waist up!

Cerfe - longtime local dj. I know I'm reaching here. He's not really a celeb, but in person a decade ago, he reminded me of Mick Jagger...tiny, nearly frail, skinny body clad in an outfit that only a 20somethingurban street punk might wear. Dyed, highlited mop of hair, lined face, earrings. Then you hear his recognizable speaking voice and he just is incongruous...face for radio.

Julianne Moore - didn't recognize her, just thought that is absolutely the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. My friends had to tell me to stop staring. She was wearing sweats and no make up.

Andrea Mitchell - looks WAY old in real life.

Rob Lowe - way too thin.

Jessica Alba and Kerri Russell - both stunningly gorgeous in real life. Both TINY and way too thin.

Almost all leading men actors are really short.

Reese Witherspoon - tiny and adorable in person (smaller than she seems in pics/movies).

Dan Rather - just as stately in person as on TV.

Bill Clinton - taller than expected. Red-faced. Hillary - just like you'd expect her to look (sort of frumpy, facelift).

I saw Halle berry two months ago in CA. I thought she looked great.

I met him about 20 years ago at a strip club. He clearly lies about his height (like Tom Cruise) and must wear lifts. He has to be around 5'7".

Met a whole bunch of celebrities when I lived in LA in the mid 90s'.

Warren Beatty a lot older than he looked on screen - time certainly took a toll on him and this was around 1994 but Annette Bening looked beautiful. They were together.

Lynn Redgrave, now deceased, quite plain but a really lovely person.
