Why won't she just go away?

You know in way Palin did more for the left than the right so I say keep the stories going!

*Social conservatives are usually against working mothers and prefer women to stay home. They had to give this up the minute Palun was nominated,
*She cost McCain more than a few percentage points in the election.
*Planned parenthood made something over 800,000 in donations made in her name!
*She may actually run in 2012 making it even easier for Obama to be re elected

Book deal or not, I do not think Palin will be more than a tiny footnote in the history books. Remember Dan Quayle? He rated a NYT Magaine cover story a few years after Bush Sr. lost to Clinton, yet the man disappeared, despite the efforts of all the best minds the Republicans have to groom him into an acceptable candidate. Did you see the turkeys being bled in the background of that video? It was taken the day Palin "pardoned" a turkey. Her small-town Alaska supporters may love her, but nationally, she doesn't have the instincts to make it. She'll go the way of Brittney Spears -- tabloid fodder but no traction.

But she sure packed them in at campaign appearances in Georgia Monday, didn't she?

LOL, I saw on Foxnews today, "Palin wasn't the only one who got help with her wardrobe!" The following story explains how a couple of dems got HUNDREDS, yes you read that right, HUNDREDS of dollars worth of clothing from their campaigns. As if there is any comparison....

And now some fresh pickings from the Political Grapevine.

Dressed for Success

It turns out Sarah Palin was not the only candidate who got help with her wardrobe. At least five other federal candidates spent campaign cash on new threads according to Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

The group says Democratic Congressmen Loretta Sanchez of California and Rob Andrews of New Jersey and Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr, each spent hundreds of dollars on clothing.

A Sanchez spokeswoman says the funds went for cultural attire; not personal use. Andrews says he bought new clothes after an airline lost his luggage, but the money was reimbursed. Barr also denies any wrongdoing.
