Why won't she just go away?

PP, I think the other poster meant that she is the first woman on the Republican ticket. Nice try, though.

She's fascinating b/c she's a freak show. an accident waiting to happen

Why? No one thought to throw a bucket of water on her yet.

Come to think of it, I think I will rent The Wiz.

I guess you are right, it's like a train wreck... hard to look away.

I am finding this hilarious! The people who hate her simply cannot stop thinking about her, talking about her, replying to posts on message boards about her....

Why don't you just stop? So you think she's a trainwreck or fascinating for the wrong reasons - whatever it is, rather than wondering why she "won't go away," just STOP talking about her for crying out loud.

Please don't compare Hillary to Sarah. It's like comparing a scholar to a rock - with the rock obviously representing our Alaskan pal!

I can't resist--at least Sarah's husband is loyal to her and he's definitely cuter and more fit than Hillary's husband!

Those are your criteria for evaluating a female politician? Thanks for adding such depth and substance to the discussion.

Hillary Clinton is not going anywhere, friend. Her approval ratings as a U.S. Senator are the highest they've been in her career: 62% overall, and 91% among African Americans. That was right before the election. She made over a hundred appearances for Barack Obama between June and the election, she raised a great deal of money for him, and her HillPAC candidates all won, including Kay Hagen, who unseated Senator Elizabeth Dole. I imagine her approval ratings now are even higher. So dream on, Hillary-hater.

I am seeing a theme here - if you disagree with a Democrat politician you are a "hater". if you support a Republican politician you are "dumb as a rock", and if you blast a Republican you are "just stating facts - are you too dumb to understand that?"

Kum Ba Yah anyone?

Looks is how you judge a person? I think the intelligence of HRC husband will endure beyond the laconic deer-in-headlights look of Todd Palin. Todd's nothing more than Sarah's shadow.

And you, "my friend," really enjoy generalizations, don't you?

Dumb is as dumb does. Palin has not shown ONCE that she can handle her political career. Find evidence to prove that she's worthy of running a country.

Todd . . . nothing much to say here. Anyone?

Bill cheated on Hillary. oh well - At least he wasn't toe tapping in the men's restroom. He also left a SURPLUS.

Hillary Clinton spearheaded a national healthcare plan, attended Yale, nationally supported her formal rival, Obama, (in order to support the Democratic party), and is currently a US Senator.

Depends on the Republican politician. Olympia Snowe, anyone? George Voinovich. To get local, Carol Schwartz. Wouldn't call anyone dumb as a rock for supporting them. Palin? She is a rank amateur.

Sarah Palin is the number one search on CNN. She'll go away when the media stops interviewing her. The media will stop interviewing her when the public stops caring. Posting threads like this only adds to it, it doesn't make her more likely to go away.
