The 57 T Bird with Hawaiian Plates that Skip made at Garretts would rival any of the special drinks out there today. |
I'm way too young for this thread, but I had an older sister with an even older boyfriend. I remember going to Spy Club in 9th grade (who let me in??) circa 1991. Never made it to fifth column or tracks, but pretended I did. |
polotiki -- tiki bar on the hill. 1997? |
Yeah, but my friends and I used the English translation and we were never turned away from the bar! |
Circa 1989... BBQ Iguana at 14th and P, where you had to BYOB. |
I am, admittedly, older, but in the early-to-mid 80s there used to be a club near 21st and M that you had to walk downstairs to get into and I can't remember it's name! I was talking to some friends recently about it and nobody can remember but we all remember it being there. Anyone have any clue? |
Was it The Cellar Door? |
Who said this?
"Ahhh yes ... once again, welcome to [the Roxy/Tracks/etc.]" |
The Bank. |
OMG, I loved Decades so much! |
Au Pied du Cochon was the best!
Remember Anastasia's in Gtown? And Quigley's (the one near AU). Have many fuzzy memories of that place. |
I know it's not a club, but I loved the Biograph in GTown. I saw The Year of Living Dangerously there when Mel Gibson was HOT. |
Gustis? Or the Brickskellar? |
LuLu's Mardi Gras on emm.. M and 23rd or something? Not far from GW. Great parties on Thurdsay nights, and it was only 18+. |
Rumors! It was so clean! |
