Oh I get it now! This must be the screen play for the sequel to Clueless!
Look, now they are all grown up with new annoying problems. Really, how do people with kids "spend all their free time" with anyone other than their kids and dh's? |
Yeah, but usually the less-meat rants are shorter. On a words-per-drama ratio, OP is running neck and neck with the Magna Carta. |
Nutt-UH. We ain't takin the blame for her. She must be in her 20s. With the young climbing husband and all. |
Sadly enough, I think somewhere in her rambling post she said she was in her forties. |
When I read the comment, I immediately wondered if PP meant to type "petty" and Autocorrect got her. Since her word choice was so spot on with "vapid", I'm going to give PP the benefit of the doubt.

This has to be fake. Who uses the name "Peggy Sue" to hide the identity of someone?
It all just is soooo strange and. . .bizarre. |
| OP, have you called out the new friend on her rudeness, re shutting you out of conversations? You need to say this to both old and new friend. You do realize that old friend's "get along" edict is one that only you need to fulfill from the sounds of it. For your part, you do seema bit clingy, though maybe you are just hurting. That's understandable. Also, you seem to imply that the new friend had no right to be at a kid-centered event (which is how she met your friend) because she doesn't have children. Can you explain that? I do wonder if you may be being a bit mean yourself, saying she shouldn't be at kid events. |

1) Friends are not material possessions--they cannot be stolen by a "thief"
2) People can be friends with more than one person 3) As PPs have stated, you desperately need some greater perspective on your life. |
